I love this version of Spider-Man much much more than I did for the Spider Man trilogy, This revamp is much much better. It goes along more to the comics than the first three did. I haven't really read the Spider-Man comics but my dad has and apparently is does go along with the comics with you know the various tweaks that happen to movies based on anything.
This movie starred Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Spider-Man, who is the protagonist of the movie. The amazing Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, who is the love interest for Peter Parker in the movie. Then of course you have the antagonist of the movie, The Lizard and Dr. Curtis Connors who is played by Rhys Ifans.
Then you have the reason Peter Parker. in my opinion, choose to truly become Spider-Man and that is because the dearly beloved Uncle Ben is murdered, playing Uncle Ben in this movie is of course Martin Sheen.
Then you have Sally Field as Aunt May, who I believe KNOWS that Peter is Spider Man but doesn't say she knows. Who finally gets her eggs after Peter has the throw down fight with The Lizard.
The movie came out in 2012. This movie was directed by Marc Webb.
Over all I give this movie about a 7 out of 10.
Every super hero has a reason to start fighting but they always discovers a reason to KEEP fighting.
I would also like to give a nod to the man who plays Jack's father, and that is C. Thomas Howell. He has got to be my favorite bad guy from Criminal Minds.
